What is the BECCA online exchange?
BECCA is an internet platform to bring together cargo owners and vessel operators.
The Freight exchange enables consignors to advertise available freight in order to obtain transportation quotes from vessel operators.
Who is BECCA for?
BECCA exchange platform for the shipping community, bringing together:
- shippers wishing to find a ship for sending their cargo
- vessel operators for increased cargo transportation opportunities.
How do I register?
After clicking on "Register", fill in the registration form.
If you are a vessel operator, select the relevant check box and answer the information requested: the BECCA team will, after control, validate you as a certified operator.
If you are a member of a BECCA partner organization, you can give the affiliate code that you were given: you will then be entitled to the discount granted to the association for your online shopping.
After validation of the registration form you will receive an email to validate your entry.

An email will be sent to you allowing you to enter a new password.
What is the “select ads” item for?
You are interested in a cargo ad, you want to give a quotation but you have no time to do it now: simply select the ad, it will be stored and you can answer later.
Your selected ads are accessible from your dashboard by clicking on "My selected ads".
How can I be constantly updated on freight ads?
The BECCA monitoring system can issue updates matching your criteria.
When a freight ad matching your criteria is submitted, you receive an email telling you so.
To manage your alerts, you must be connected: Click "My watch" in your tool bar at the bottom of the screen.
Will I have to constantly log on BECCA to be notified?
BECCA is a platform integrating a dynamic trading system, ie you will be automatically informed of relevant information, without logging onto the website.
You will be informed by email about the following events:
- Freight requests matching your criteria
- If you have posted a cargo request for transport:
- Your cargo request has expired
Does BECCA work and accept all computer systems?
BECCA is suitable for all types of screens: PCs, tablets, smartphones...
The available applications of the platform will automatically show according to your type of computer.
